چکیده
Olmsted Syndrome, OS, ( congenital palmoplanter and periofical karetoderma) is a very rare condition and is associated with palmoplanter karetoderma and perioral hyperkaratotic plaques, deformation and loss of the flexibility of hands. On rare occasions it could lead to amputation of the severely effected digits or hands. The condition has also been associated with growth impairement and joint laxity and described to be inherited from the famility or effect patients sporadicaly. Specific types of skin lesions are formed with OS. New types of leasions and plaques are still being identified with new patients. In our sunjest we have seen depletion of IgG2 levels (immune deficiency) severe pneumonia and empyema during skin deformation. Although all reported cases have been described to have genetic links or appear sporadicly, our findings show that the depletion of the immune responses should also be considered and not ignored when identifying and diagnosing the condition.

Olmsted Syndrome Associated with Somatic Type of Delusion
The inheritance of Olmsted syndrome that is a very rare congenital with transgredient palmoplantar keratoderma is distinguished by the presence of massive hyperkeratosis with fissured skin and periorificial chaps. It usually appears during the early life and mostly in male pateints. Herein we report a case of Olmsted syndrome which is associated with ichthyosis and somatic type of delusion duri...
متن کاملO 6: Kininogen Deficiency Ameliorates Neuroinflammation by Reducing Immune Cell Trafficking
Enhanced immune cell trafficking into the central nervous system (CNS) and disruption of the blood brain barrier are pathophysiological hallmarks of neuroinflammatory disorders like multiple sclerosis (MS) and its animal model, experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE). However, recent studies suggest that the coagulation and the contact-kinin system might also be involved in MS developme...
متن کاملOlmsted syndrome: exploration of the immunological phenotype
BACKGROUND Olmsted syndrome is a rare congenital skin disorder presenting with periorifical hyperkeratotic lesions and mutilating palmoplantar keratoderma, which is often associated with infections of the keratotic area. A recent study identified de novo mutations causing constitutive activation of TRPV3 as a cause of the keratotic manifestations of Olmsted syndrome. METHODS Genetic, clinical...
متن کاملIVIG Anaphylaxis in a patient with Common variable immune deficiency disease (CVID).
Common variable immune deficiency disease (CVID) is one of the most common primary immunodeficiency disorders. It causes reduction of immunoglobulin levels and specific antibodies production and enhancement of recurrent and chronic infections risk, especially respiratory infections and gastrointestinal tracts. Here, we report a case of CVID in a 3 years old male with recurrent hospitalizations ...
